Long ago, the village of Emberholt shone with a thousand lanterns.

But one winter night, the light faded from the world, and the village was left in gray silence.

Legend says that once a year, on the night of the Before Festival, a single soul can walk the village, light the lamps, gather the villagers, and call the color back into the world.

"Tonight, that soul is you."
